It is with sorrow that we share the passing of David M. Dolan, Esq., beloved husband of the late Ann C. Dolan and the youngest of six children. A respected attorney, banker, and a true leader in the St. Louis business community, David passed away peacefully of natural causes at the age of ninety-five, surrounded by his loved ones.

David was a attorney in St. Louis, serving as trusted counsel to automobile dealers for more than five decades. Over the course of his remarkable career, he extended his expertise well beyond the legal field, becoming a valued advisor and entrepreneur in the banking and real estate industries. From The Real Estate Prep School and Citizens National Bank to US Title and Osage Ambulances, David's leadership left a lasting impact on many.

A decorated U.S. Army combat veteran, David served with distinction as a commissioned officer during the Korean War. The GI Bill enabled him to attend Washington University School of Law after graduating from the University of Missouri prior to the war. Those close to him remember a man of unwavering integrity-devoted to his family and generous without ever expecting anything in return.

He led an active and fulfilling life, enjoying sailing, traveling, and playing golf-making his second hole-in-one at the age of 89.

David is survived by his three children: Corby Leinauer (Kurt), John C. Dolan II (Karen), and Colleen Dolan; and by eight grandchildren. Though he is deeply missed, his legacy and love will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A memorial Mass will be held at St. Gerard Majella Church on August 23, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., with visitation and a celebration to follow at The Racquet Club Ladue. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children in memory of Ann C. Dolan, a longtime Shriners Hospital volunteer.
