David G. Lupo

Lupo, David G. (6-9-25 - 8-16-18) was born in St. Louis, graduated from Blewett High School and attended Washington University before being called into service in World War II. During the war, he was a cryptographer in the 42nd Rainbow Infantry Division in Europe. After the war, he earned his undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees from Washington University. He practiced law for 56 years, retiring in 2007. He was active in the Metropolitan St. Louis Bar, Missouri Bar, and American Bar Associations. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Bevill Lupo, daughter, Katherine Lynn Lupo, son Steven Clark Lupo (Allison), two grandsons David Murray Lupo (Veronica) in Glenwood Springs, Colorado and Christopher Michael Lupo (Whitney) in St. Louis. Survivors also include two great grandsons, Michael Cullen Lupo in Glenwood Springs, Colorado and Matthew Allen Lupo in St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his sister, Eileen Lupo Speiser who is survived by her husband, Dr. Warren Speiser and their family. Funeral services were private.
