Swan Family,
As I said before, I don't feel that there are any "perfect" words that can be said about your loss...after all, David was such an awesome person! But what I can say is that I know he is truly missed by so many, and his memmory will live on in the hearts and minds of all that knew and loved him...I feel blessed to have known him and I know my family does as well, especially Brandon. You all continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Swan I was so sorry I couldnt make it to your memorial service as I just found out i lost my baby that morning. I know God has a plan for all of us. We will never know why he wants some of us early..its all a part of his divine plan. I will never forget you.. we sat in cage together, we hung out together, you were one of the "good guys".I remember you being so proud of me when I finished school after having Blake!lol you always encouraged me and told me I could do it! Glad I listened to you. Such a kind,tender hearted guy. You stayed true to your self. Happy to say you were such a good friend to me back in the day. I will always remember your name for me..."goldy locks";)

Dear Swan Family- I haven't seen Dave in years ,but I will never forget that wonderful smile and what a true friend he was to all. It seems like yesterday that all the boys were hanging out at the house collecting baseball cards. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. He will truly be missed.

Dave, you were such a great person, and I know we fell out of touch over the years, but when we saw each other around, it was like nothing ever changed, you were a good friend. I cannot find the right words to say how sorry I feel for your loss, I got to know David thru his mom Vicki with all her stories about her boys, she loves them very much as a mom should. He will be truly missed by all, and his memories will live on!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

There are not enough words to say how much you will be missed but one day we will all see each other on the other side. I didnt know you very well but I do know you will be missed dearly and the good lord needed someone like you up in heaven.May you rest in piece. When I was a child, David was like a brother to me. David you are a part of many of my favorite childhood memories. You were such an adorable baby and grew up to be such a fine young man. One thing is for sure you touched so many lives. My heart is broken and my thoughts are with Dave, Vicky, Stacy, Geoff, and Eric during this most difficult time.

There are not enough words to express the sadness twisting through my heart knowing that you are gone and that the only time I will see that huge smile is in pictures and thoughts, although you are gone you have made a huge imprint on everybody you ever came across without a doubt. In my mind, you are not gone but it will just be a long time before I see you again my friend, heaven needs the clear a path for you so you can glide up to the gates and charm everybody up there as you did here. I love you and miss you immensely for the rest of my being.
