As the years have passed I've spend countless hours waiting for my father to complete his treatments. However, waiting is never a chore. The Da Vita waiting room is a continuous flow of patients. People as different as one might imagine. Characters all. Yet for as diverse as they, and we are, there are always warm greetings and kind words shared by the unusual collection of "colleagues," especially Dr. Kratzman. I was in awe of how Dr. Kratzman could remember my children's names and sports activities. It isn't hard to see how so many people had a genuine affection for him. He was truly a gentleman. We developed a pleasant aquaintance, and I often looked forward to Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings to discuss politics, books, his grandchildren, and even the current state of health care. He was so proud of his sons. Dr. Kratzman was always courteous and kind. I will miss his intelligent conversation and witty humor. I will remember him as a man of class and character. My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Dr. Kratzman. Your loss is shared by many. With sincere sympathy -
