McHugh, Edward Ebby J. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, October 2, 2016, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Joan KellyMcHugh and the late Lorraine M. McHugh (nee Schmalz). Loving father of Mary Kay (Wayne) Klobe, Linda (Scott) Sokolich, Karen Hardy, Ellen (Mike) Ragsdale, Dan (Courtney) McHugh, Janet (Steve) Kickham and step-son Tim (Julia) Kelly. Proud grandfather of 25. Brother of Mickey McHugh. Our dear uncle and friend to many. Ebby served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a proud member of the 1952 US Olympic Soccer Team. Services: The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1355 Motherhead Rd. (Cottleville) on Thurs., Oct 6 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Mass at 11:00 a.m. PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment at Calvary Cemetery (St. Louis). In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. www.stygar.com

Mary Kay, So sorry to hear about the loss of your dear Father. I always enjoyed chatting with him when he called the PACU. Although it is inevitable, it is always painful to lose a parent, as you well know. May your treasured memories of your Dad sustain you during your grief.
