Ostmann, Edwin H. 'Pappy' St. Charles, MO, September 19, 2006 age 87.
Beloved husband of the late Vera Ostmann; loving father of Lana (Ray) Sommer; proud grandfather of Jonathan Sommer (Fiance, Lucie Johannes); dear brother of Wilfred (Lucille), the late Herbert (Audrey surviving), Arthur (Estelle), Ralph (Lucille), Harold (Helen) and Elmer (Virginia) Ostmann and the late Lucille (Melvin) Schipper; dear uncle, great-uncle and friend; preceded in death by parents, Carl and Lydia Ostmann.
Mr. Ostmann worked as a carpenter for 30 years and was a member of The Carpenter's Local 1987. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. Pappy and Vera were very active with the committee for the Zion Lutheran sausage dinners.Services: The family is being served by the BAUE Funeral Home 620 Jefferson, St. Charles, MO, where visitation will be held Friday, September 22, 2006, 3:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Saturday Zion Lutheran Church St. Charles, MO. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery, St. Charles, MO. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund. Share your condolences and memories at www.baue.com.
