Telthorst, Elizabeth Susanne
Passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. She was born on February 8, 1928. Betty, as she was affectionately known, was predeceased by her beloved husband Edgar J. Telthorst, her mother Susan Dunsford, her father Richard Dunsford, Sr, her brother Richard Dunsford, Jr., and her aunt Grace Rossi. Betty is survived by her children Ann Telthorst, Paul (Janel) Telthorst, Peter (Barbara) Telthorst, Claire (Terry) Miles, and Lucy Telthorst. Betty was the beloved Grandma to her twelve grandchildren Angela (Bill) Schnieders, John (Marianne) Telthorst, Justin Telthorst, Paul (Sayaka) Telthorst, Katie (Josh) Deehr, Mark (Natalie) Telthorst, Scott Telthorst, Laura (Chris) Ades, Chris (Leah) Miles, Joey (Morgan) Miles, Nick (Stacey) Gish, and Mari Hall. Betty was also blessed with fifteen great-grandchildren who also brought much joy to her; Catherine and Felicity Schnieders, Thaddeus Telthorst, Maia Telthorst, Suzie, Theo, Matt, and Lucy Deehr, Luka Telthorst, Louie and Wyatt Ades, Everett and Elliot Gish, and Violet Hall.
Services: A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 1508 Bopp Road, Des Peres, MO. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 10:45 on Monday, August 28, 2023. Visitation will be held on Friday August 25, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. at BOPP Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to St. Clement of Rome Parish or St. Anthony's Food Pantry in her honor. www.boppchapel.com

Betty was very likely the first lady from St. Clement of Rome to join our Serra Club in its mission of promoting vocations and brought in many of her friends in the years that followed. She'll be missed, and remembered in our prayers.
