Ernst Reinholdt Obituary
Born on September 12th, 1933 in New York, New York to Rosamunda and Fredrick who proceed his death. Ernst, the son of immigrants, joined the Army at the age of 23 and served for 2 years. After his service he eventually moved with his family to Saint Louis Missouri, where he eventually attained the status of Senior Staff Engineer at AT&T. He had a heavy passion for travel and loved Broadway shows, sailing and cats. His presence touched the lives of everyone around him, he will be missed.
Ernst's family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at de Greef Hospice House for their compassionate care.

Dear Lanny and Michele. I wanted tell you how happy Rosemary was to know you responded to this obituary. Ernst had been looking for you for years. The last place he knew you lived was Georgia. He was not on Facebook so he did not have the option. It was nice to hear from you and others from Western Electric. I am Rosemary´s sister. She is not able to respond herself. And I also want to thank you for all you did when our son William died. We were out of town and you took care things so I would not have to deal with them when we came home. I never never forgot it. And if you see William where you are please give him a hug from his mama. And my folks too

We have known Ernst and Rosemary for 50 years. Shared lots of fun and laughter during those cherished times. I am sure Ernst is in heaven with his camera around his neck ready to shoot. He will be greatly missed. Until later Ernst...Love Kay and Jim

I feel so lucky to have known Ernst. He was a gentleman and good person. I remember him as always taking pictures when we got together . I was so happy to get celebrate his 90th birthday with him and of course he was taking pictures.

Ernst, my dear brother in law, I knew you since I am 9 years old. Thank you so much for taking me and my parents so many places and including me and Sonny on your vacations through the years. You opened up a world of travel vacations I never knew. Thank you for helping with the new computer technology. Thank you for taking care of my sister even up to the end of your life. I also worked for Ernie at Western Electric in Ballwin ,Mo. for many years. Lots of great memories about him and his family! Joseph may remember that I bought an old pinball machine him (Joseph). That pinball is still in my basement being played by my grand kids!
