Riedmeyer, Gladys D. (née Peterson)

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025. Loving wife of the late Harry Riedmeyer. Loving mother of Todd (Pam) Riedmeyer and Chris (Jim) Deutschmann. Loving grandmother of Emma (Manuel) Deutschmann, Matthew (Rebecca) Deutschmann, and Henry Riedmeyer. Gladys was a proud member of the Women's Army Corps and was often quoted saying, "Women are veterans, too!" Services: Visitation at 9:30 AM, Funeral Service 10:30 AM, Wednesday, September 10, at HUTCHENS Mortuary, 675 Graham Rd., Florissant. Interment with full military honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Protective Association of Missouri.

After her Army career Gladys worked with us as a marketing researcher. At the same time she was extremely active with the Girl Scouts.
Family was most important to Gladys. We often heard wonderful stories about Harry, Todd and Chris.
