I will miss Ida Mae's great smile, energy, and talents. She was a very generous and thoughtful friend to all she met. I really enjoyed rooming with she and Betty at some dances out of town.

Ida May was always a source of inspiration as she danced and danced into her advanced age. I visited her in the hospital a few weeks before she died and she told me "'I'm a tough old bird" -- which she certainly was. When I left she said "See you across the square", which, unfortunately, she never did. Great lady. She will be missed here in the Rio Grande Valley. Rita (and Marty)

Ida Mae's enthusiasm for square and round dancing (and seemingly, life in general), was remarkable. She was a special lady.

We will miss Ida Mae here in Winter Haven Village. She was always happy playing her spoons at our Jams and we all enjoyed her very much. Our deepest sympathy to her family.

Ida Mae was one of a kind; proof that square dancing is a great activity. It kept her strong of body, mind and spirit. Her passing is a lose to our square dance community.

Ida May was really an inspiration to Square Dancers with her charm and personality. She was always in good spirits and very friendly. Loved hearing her play the spoons. She will surely be missed.
God bless the family.
