Janet Genevieve Grass

Grass, Janet Genevieve devoted wife, mother and friend passed away on December 6, 2013. Janet was born August 5, 1939 to the late Harry F. Werner and Regina (Lurk) Werner in Ste. Genevieve, MO. She graduated as valedictorian, Class of 1957, from Valle High School in Ste. Genevieve, MO. Survived by Everett, her husband of 55 years; daughters, Carrie (Andy) Steere of Columbia, MO, Connie Rhoads of Ballwin, MO, Pamela Grass of Va Beach, VA, and sons, Michael (Kristy) Grass of Lusby, MD, and Steven Grass of St. Louis, MO; 4 grandchildren, Brian and Rebecca Steere, Cameron Rhoads and Jacob Grass. Surviving also are her sisters, Marilyn Gegg, Annie Rodenmeyer, and brother Vernon Werner, along with many cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Maggie Staab. Services: Visitation will be held Sunday December 29, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. at Basler Funeral Home, 685 Center Dr, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670.
