Gruener, John E. baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection on Wed., March 25, 2015 at age 78. Beloved husband for 49 years to Mary Jane Gruener (nee Peake); beloved father of Jennifer (Ben) Hoffmann, Christine Zuniga, Jeffrey (Tracy) and Michael Gruener; loving grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of one; dear brother of Robert (Marie) and Edward (Teddy) Gruener. John will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. Services: Funeral Sat. 8:30 am from JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129), to St. Francis of Assisi Church for Mass at 9:00 am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. VISITATION FRIDAY 3 - 8 PM.
