Josiah Robertson Obituary

Robertson, Josiah J. Passed away on Dec. 5, 2015. Husband of Barbara (Bobbie), father of Ryan Jacob and Samuel Craig Robertson. A sister, Clare Smiley of Madison, MO and brother Michael Robertson of Albany, MO also survive. He was born, March 24, 1952, in Kansas City, MO the son of Jacob Marion and Josephine Robertson. Josiah's youth was spent in Marshall, Mo. Upon graduating from Missouri Valley College he moved to St. Louis to pursue a career in finance, received a MBA from Lindenwood University and was a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs. The last 26 years of his career he served as CFO for Kennelwood Pet Resorts. He felt fortunate to have a career he loved among people that were like a second family. Joe enjoyed life fully and enriched others' lives with his giving nature and sense of humor. He had a genuine interest and respect for others that was always apparent. He will be deeply missed. Josiah is buried in his families' section of Ridge Park Cemetery, Marshall, MO. A kind deed or charitable donation of choice made with Joe in your thoughts would bring a smile from him and his family. Three close to Joe's heart were Peddle the Cause, VOYCE, and Brain Injury Association. A remembrance gathering is planned for January 7th at Spazio Westport, 5-7:30 pm.

I worked with Joe when he was on the Board at LTCOP. He was a gentleman, and someone I respected alot. I was so saddened to see he had passed away at such a young age.
