Jill, Lynn, Chris-
I just learned of Katie's death today. I am truly devastated and heart sick for you all, Don, and the children. I can still see her sitting in "her chair' at the Kettler cottage and then watching summer after summer her maturing into a fine young women and mother. No matter the years now in between, Torch Lake still means wonderful times with the Rarick girls. Linnea, Greg and I are currently in Naples with dad as he has been very ill and is now with Hospice. He and mom sure loved their little Katie. Hugs to you all.

Dear Courtney:

One of the most treasured possessions a Mother leaves a child is a heart full of loving memories. You will always have a special place in your heart for your Mother. No one else can fill that space. She was a wonderful, giving person & everyone who knew her was a better person having met her. When I was at work, she would always give my daughter, Aynsley Wolters, a ride to soccer practice; or, a soccer game. She always had a beautiful smile.

With Deepest Sympathy,
Karen (Wolters) Prinster

"No painters brush, nor poet's pen in justice to her fame has ever reached half high enough to write a Mother's name".

My thoughts, condolences and prayers go out to Katie's family and friends. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend to me and my family. I'm at a loss of anything more to say that can bring comfort to those who knew Katie except that she is now in heaven and at peace.
