Life is a precious gift and every second we should live to the fullest. My relationship with the Gan family started as a young girl being classmates with Kris. I came to Pizza gatherings on Sunday when ‘Daddy Gan” made those Chef Boyardee Pizzas for us. You went to Vietnam and came back and we met as now young adults….we married and then we had our great times and then the realization that we were too young to be married. I am so happy to know you had a family at this time to enjoy and love life. I will remember that you were the only one that called me “Barbara Jean” besides my mother. I will also remember that your mother always called you “Michael.” God Bless You Skinner and so many people that really knew the big heart you had and the big smile you wore.

I will always remember Mike as a very humble man, who lived a simple life, had a kindness about him, and always a smile on his face. Rest in peace dear cousin.

I'm sorry I didnt get to know you but my mom has shared some memories of you to me. Thanks for my first teddy bear and I guess sticking my foot in the first snow when I was a baby for good luck did the trick :-) RIP Uncle Kenny

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Kitty, I know this is a very painful time for you. Please be comforted by the knowledge that Ken is in a better place, free from pain and suffering. You and the family are in my thoughts and prayers.
