Kevin was a friend of my son Matthew. Came over to our house and saw him at Lutheran North.

February 26, 2017

I will always remember Kevin. He was a good friend to my son Matt Steiner. Even though he was in the service they had kept in touch he would visit when he was on leave. I haven't seen Kevin in years but I thought of him. When Matt died I thought of him. My favorite Story about Kevin was when I was at Lutheran North watching Matt, Mike and a few other boys play soccer, Kevin played soccer with Matt's younger sister. At one game Kevin asked where my son was! I said playing soccer on the field. He said no my younger son. I said you mean my daughter he said no your son. I said I only have one son. You were playing soccer with my daughter. Kristen had her hair cut like a boy. When he was on leave at my house one time I should him how that little boy grew up to be a beautiful girl. He said you are not going to let me forget that are! I said no. I am so sorry for your lost. He was a great person and a good friend to Matt and our Family.
Stephanie Steiner.
