Appel, Marcella 'Sally' V. (nee Galen), 86, Friday, September 7, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Charles A. Appel, Sr.; cherished mother of the late Charlotte Sue Appel, Peggy Ann (Charles) Meyer, Charles A. (Colleen) Appel, Jr. and Cindy Lynn (Steve) Bell; proud grandmother of Mark and Matthew Meyer, Amanda Mallon, Jenny Lynch, Julia Appel, Marty and Mason Copeland; dear great-grandmother of 2 1/2; dearest sister of Judith Ann Albrecht and the late Charles (Helen) Galen; dear sister-in-law of Dick Albrecht and Myrtle Woods; dear aunt, cousin and friend to many. Sally loved gardening and being with her family and had been a long time member of St. Paul's Evangelical Church. Memorials may be made to her church or Buffalo Township United Fund, c /o Bank of Louisiana, 101 S. Third, Louisiana, MO 63353.Services:Funeral Tues., Sept. 11, 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Evangelical Church, 9801 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur. Interment church cemetery. Visitation Mon., 3-9 p.m. at BAUMANN COLONIAL Chapel, 2504 Woodson Rd., Overland and at church, Tues., 9-10 a.m. Share condolences and tributes at www.baumann chapel.com.
