I met Mary Jo in 1979. I had just graduated with my MSW and my first job is at the St. Louis County juvenile court. Mary Jo was in a different department, but we became friends. We remained friends all these years, making sure to celebrate each other`s birthdays. She loved life - she loved her family, her friends, her cats, her garden, and the fall foliage - as well as many other things. I miss her already.

So grateful to have known Mary Jo. She lead a life of loving service and her volunteer work on Mercy Professional Services Board was invaluable. What a kind and wise woman.
