Jim Sr. and family, We are so sorry to hear about Mary. I have such great memories of Mary and always enjoyed being in her presence. She brought out the best in those around her. She was interested in everyone's story, always asked about family and listened so well. I am so glad we got to see her and give her a hug at Uncle Ed's funeral. She will be missed by so many. Sending lots of love your way and to your entire family.

What a wonderful, Christian woman she was. Our 3 children, all grown, attended Salem Lutheran School and our two daughters especially knew and loved her. Amanda Bowles adored her, having been a student of hers. She was the most warm and caring person ever. Even after our children were out of Salem and we would see her and Jim anywhere, she would always ask about Amanda and Lindsey. May God bless you all and may you look forward to your reunion in Heaven, our home.

Jim, Sixty-five years ago, a friend called me and said a new acquaintance would be joining us and thought I would like her, her name was Mary... and I DID LIKE her! For all those years, some off and on, we shared laughter, some tears, ups and downs, but like I told her many times, it always seemed like she was the one giving the help and support - when I needed it most - even to this day, thru some weird mix-up with my phone, I didn't know till it was too late to be there for her, but I know she knows I will never forget her and will always be praying for her and her family.
Jim, James, John, Mary Beth, and Laura, thank you for sharing your "Mary" with me.
Mary, thank you for the many laughs, thank you for wiping away the many tears, yes, that new girl "Mary" - I did like her, very much.

Mary was the most gracious person i ever met at Salem Church. Her warm smile was genuine and her words always kind. Her impact will be most sadly missed.

John and family, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. It was such a special treat to see her at your daughter's wedding and to have the chance to catch up with her. She was always asking my mom about my son and I am so grateful for that. Such a wonderful, caring person who will truly be missed.

What a wonderful Christian Lady who lit up the room when she walked in. Always had a kind word for everyone. Always willing to help when she could. So thankful to God for bringing her into my life. God's Peace and comfort to the family, her Church family and her friends.
