Mike Lombardo was larger than life. I will never forget working with this man. He sure taught me how to honor a customer! Mike Lombardo sure was a true master at his craft. I will never forget my time with him at Mr. Produce and Moore Foods.

MIKE AND I WENT ON THE NATIONAL BOARD TOGETHER AND AFTER OUR FIRST BOARD MEETING HE INVITED THE WHOLE BOARD ,AND WIVES,TO ATTEND A PARTY AT HIS HOME.THIS WAS THE GREATEST PARTY I EVER ATTENDED DURING THR SIX YEARS ON THE BOARD.I WILL MISS MIKE PHONE CALLS AS WE TALKED TPA OVER THE PHONE EVERY FEW MONTH.SO LONG MY DEAR FRIEND AND THANKS FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP.COACH PRESSLY

I met Mike 45 years ago when he would call on my chef at Norwood Hills Country Club. Over the years, I found he was one of the nicest and professional man that I ever met in the Foodservice industry. We have fond memories of Avis and Mike during our time spent on the TPA Board and while I was National President. Mike was always a joy to be around and made us feel welcomed whenever we were with him. Our sympathy and love to all the family.

No member of TPA was more dedicated and loved TPA as much as Mike Lombard always was., I remember eating with Mike in the kitchens with the main chefs of some of the fanciest restaurants in St Louis. My sincerest sympathy to MIKE's broad family of kin.He was a caring kind,generous inspiring gent.WAS A "MISTER" of the many Leaders of the Missouri Division Of the TRAVELERS PROTECTIVE ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA,later years a strong developer of TPA members for the COLORADO division of the T P A. Was a very productive effective National President of the T P A. Within the breadth of Mo. there must be thousands today that will miss MICHAEL. He friended me by taking me to meet his many business associates, eateries, taste his most valued important olive oil and enjoy his hearty laughs as he extolled his business life's trials in the vast ST.LOUIS market for his top quality products
