Dear Elaine:
I just learned of Mitch's death and can hardly believe that he's gone. He was life itself - always. It's clear from the slide show that his smile never changed. (Nor did his plaid!) I know that the photos are just a snippet of the rich memories that you have shared. You and he were always what “dynamic duo” really means. We haven't been in touch over the years, but know that I'm thinking of you and Mitch, remembering your many talents, strength, humor and love as well as his. May you find solace in your shared journey as hundreds of people honor Mitch for the great man that he was. My heart goes out to you and your family. I live in New York City, but will be there in spirit.
Love from Jan Wetzel

Dearest Cousin Elaine, I am thinking of you today as I look at that huge empty spot on the horizon where a Mount Everest of a man has been for 64 years. Together you two made a better world for all of us by creating that wonderful family. Much love, Ann

Sorry to the Murch family for the loss of their Father and Husband. The Murch and the Ebinger family spent many holidays and weekends together at Lost Trails and the Lake. Mitch personally came to my assistance when I needed a helping hand and he pulled me up. We grew up with the Murchs and I have many great memories of playing with Barb,Lissa and Tim. My father, Bob Ebinger, was a true Tiger just like Mitch. I will miss him..

It was late in the 90's when the Murch family came into my life. With George as my boss, I was blessed being included in this wonderful family. Mitch was always so kind to me. I will always remember how hospitable Mitch and Elaine were whenever I was around. I always got such a kick out of his plaid slacks. They truly matched his colorful personality. He was truly a fan of Budweiser and the Missouri Tigers. I am very blessed to have known him and the entire Murch and Kriegshauser families. My prayers are with all of you. I know how much he loved Florida so a candle is burning in Ft. Lauderdale in his memory. I am playing the piano at a party and will play his favorite, "Here Comes the King."

Mitchel was a friend and mentor for well over 50 years. His positive attitude, commitment to causes, and hard work were certainly examples worthy of emulating. He also knew how to have fun.
