Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Bruno family. I had the opportunity to know Phil through CBC lacrosse. He was our team president. Phil was passionate, caring, thoughtful and flat out fun. Phil always wanted to do the right thing for our team and school. He had such an infectious smile, how couldn't you walk away happy! His joy in life was watching his son Philip play lacrosse, raising as much money for the MS150 as possible and being involved in the community. He was the best. Gods Peace Phil -

I was one of the fortunate ones to have experienced Phil's spinning classes. People flocked to them not just because they could get a good workout or keep up with their cycling routine, they came because of the sense of community that Phil brought to every class he lead. He made everyone feel special and included. Motivating, inspirational, fun and upbeat. These are my descriptors of Phil. One HUGE fist pump to you Phil. Good work here, enjoy your reward. You will be missed!!!

I remember the first time I met Phil. He was sitting with mom in our living room, waiting to meet Sue. It was a blind date! When Sue walked down the stairs, Phil's mouth dropped. His bride was smiling like they already knew each other. God's plan is mighty. From a simple blind date, came a devoted and loving wife of 32 years, three beautiful children and a life that was blessed with Jesus Christ as the center of it. He loved God, his friends, and his family. How much more can one person want than that?

Phil was a wonderful man. A few years ago, just after I moved to St. Louis I came over to meet up with Phil II before going out with friends. Phil and Susan were so kind. They wanted to make sure I was well fed before going out. haha. Phil cooked me up some italian sausages (the best I'd ever had) and I will never forget their kindness even though they barely knew me. The Bruno's are a wonderful family and I know Phil was cherished very much and will be missed greatly.
