Prabha Partap Obituary

Partap, Dr. Prabha passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the age of 76 from acute leukemia, while surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Mohinder Partap for 49 years; devoted mother of Anu (Timothy Miller) Partap, Sonia Partap, and Aneesh Partap; loving naniji of Milani and Aria Miller. She was born in Delhi, India and immigrated to the USA in 1969. St. Louis became her home in 1971 when she started her pathology residency training at Washington University, a profession she loved. She went on to become the Medical Director of the laboratory and dedicated pathologist at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy, MO for over 35 years. She loved everything about St. Louis. At home, she was known for her tremendous sense of humor, warmth, class, being the life of the party, and was an extraordinary host. She also loved gardening and watching her flowers bloom. In her honor, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Prabha Partap to either the Missouri Botanical Gardens or The Hindu Temple of St. Louis. Visit Baue.com

Candy and I were sorry to read about Prabha's passing. Her outgoing personality and delicious foods she made for the neighborhood gatherings were always welcome... and delicious! We will cherish the memories we have of her. Our sympathies to the Partap family.
