Rick Funk Obituary

Funk, Rick

March 31, 1982 - June 5, 2025

Rick Robert Funk, 43, of St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, son, and friend. He will be remembered for his big heart, quick wit, and the loyal friendship he shared with many.

Rick was the son of Bob and Linda Funk and a 2000 graduate of Affton High School. He was a skilled carpenter by trade, but his true joy came from coaching baseball or spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Nikki, and their son, Caleb; his parents, Bob and Linda Funk; in-laws, Madonna and Dave; sister-in-law, Angie; niece and nephews, Alexa, Alena, Aiden, and Ashton; great-nephew, Dean; great-niece, Karlie; and countless friends who were like family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 28, from 2-5 p.m. at The Leona in St. Louis. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Funk Family Fund, 1034 S. Brentwood Blvd., Ste. 1200, St. Louis, MO 63117, or to the Peregrine Society.
