Rita M. Ludwig

Ludwig, Rita M., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the age of 78. Beloved daughter of the late Ferdinand J. and Marie Vohs Ludwig; loving member of her adopted family Chris, Trish, Michael, Matthew, Carter and Morgan O'Neal; dear cousins Betty Lou Zeh, Bruce Stephenson, Martha Hood, Vickie Wirthman, and Nancy, Jerry, Carrie, Matthew and Michael Blurton. She was an Associate Professor of Speech/Theatre at Missouri Valley College and Lindenwood University, where she was known for her love of theatre and her hospitality to her students. Her Bachelor and Master Degrees of Fine Arts in Drama were from The University of Oklahoma where she was a Delta Zeta. She was an avid sports fan of OU and of St. Louis area sports. In previous years she also enjoyed showing dogs, and was particularly proud of her champion German Shepherds. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
