Robert Kienzle Obituary

Kienzle, Robert C. Bob 82, of St. Charles, Missouri, and previously St. Louis, passed away October 26, 2010, after a brief illness. He was born in St. Louis to the late Clifford Charles and Marcella Poetting Kienzle. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Boedeker Kienzle; daughter Susan (Dale) Harmon of St. Charles; twin sons Mark (Mary) Kienzle of Rockledge, Florida, and Michael (Valerie) Kienzle of St. Charles; grandchildren Mindi (Mike) Concialdi of Buffalo, N.Y.; Leslie Fluri of Long Island, N. Y.; Bobby Kienzle and Carolyn Kienzle of Rockledge, Florida; David Kienzle of Hazelwood, Missouri; and Ashley Kienzle of St. Charles. Mr. Kienzle was president of Sid Boedeker Safety Shoe Service, Inc., Hazelwood, and formerly a salesman for HyTest, a division of International Shoe Company and Florsheim. He was a graduate of Normandy High School and a Boy Scout, where he reached the rank of Life Scout. He attended Culver-Stockton College and was a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He was commodore of the Con Trios Yacht Club and has a lifelong love of boating on the Mississippi River and at the Lake of the Ozarks. He was a longtime member of Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis. Services: Visitation will be held at BAUE FUNERAL & MEMORIAL CENTER at Cave Springs and I-70 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2010. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2010, with interment following at Valhalla Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Humane Society of Missouri 1201 Macklind Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63110.
