Sharon Thaman Obituary
Thaman, Sharon (nee Ploudre)
A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024, in Fenton, MO. Born on April 25, 1938, in Ferguson, MO, to Alwin and Dorothy (nee Neff) Ploudre, Sharon lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph, with whom she shared 64 beautiful years, and her cherished children, Rebecca Pavelka and Douglas Thaman (Ryan Courtois). Sharon's legacy of love lives on in her grandchildren: Audrey Pavelka (Christopher) Metcalf, Jackson (Kaylee) Pavelka, Rachel Pavelka, Jacob Pavelka, Allison Thaman, Nathaniel Thaman, Sarah Thaman, and Hunter Thaman-Courtois.
Sharon's unwavering faith and dedication to her family were the hallmarks of her life. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church, 9450 Clayton Rd., Ladue, MO 63124.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice, in Sharon's memory.
