ELIDA -- Timothy Michael Thaman, 47, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at his home.
Tim was born on September 26, 1978, in Lima, Ohio, to Michael E. & Pamela S. (Higbie) Thaman. On August 21, 2004, he married Roberta (Bowersock) Thaman, who survives in Elida.
Tim graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a bachelor's in graphic design. He was very creative and always creating crafts. Tim was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Ottawa and was a Sunday School teacher there for the teens. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Tim loved spending time with his nieces, nephews, and friends' kids. He would host family and friends every year for "Timcon" where they would dress up in costumes.
Along with his wife and parents, he is survived by his brother, Patrick (Andrea) Thaman; parents-in-law, Mike & Kit Bowersock; brothers & sisters-in-law: Elaina (Zach) Hamilton, Sam (Jen) Bowersock, Abe (Missie) Bowersock, Kirsten (Jordan) Rick, Bo (Sammi) Bowersock, Ethan (Gabby) Bowersock, Eli (Kierstin) Bowersock, and Michaiah Bowersock; nieces & nephews: Ryann, Gavin, Nolan, & Kellan Thaman, Noble, Liberty, & True Hamilton, Michael, Aubrey, Hughie, Gwen, & Zion Bowersock, Alan, Caleb, & Sophie Bowersock, Aria, Ollie & Bash Rick, Abbi, Aaron, & Levi Bowersock, Clayton & Cash (on the way) Bowersock, and Ezra Bowersock.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the funeral home. Pastor Denny Coates will officiate. Burial will follow at Buckland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartbeat of Lima.
