Becker, Susan G.
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Susan Becker on July 29, 2023, in St. Louis, Missouri. Born on February 20, 1967, in her beloved hometown, Susan was the cherished daughter of John and Margaret (Peggy) Becker (nee Jacobs).
A beacon of love, Susan was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind her partner in life, Robert Smith, and her adoring children, Lesley Clark (Dan), Andrew Smith (Cody), Ashlee Nappier (Matt), Anthony Smith (Madie) and Trisha Jeffries (Justin). Susan also held a special place in her heart for her beautiful grandchildren: Jonathan, Jakob, Layla, Kody, Carter, Jackson and Charlee who will forever miss their beloved Gigi. Susan has now been reunited with her granddaughter, Jordan.
Beyond her immediate family, Susan held a deep bond with her loving siblings: Julie Becker, Cari Fears (Gary), Patti Thebeau, and Matthew Thebeau (Shawnette). Together, they shared a lifetime of memories and a profound connection that will endure through the years.
Susan was a soul as beautiful as the world she adored. She found tranquility in the great outdoors, whether basking on sandy beaches, camping beneath the stars, or embarking on float trips with loved ones. One could always find her with a cup of coffee, delighting in nature's marvels that surrounded her.
Her greatest joy came from witnessing the growth of her children, who filled her heart with pride and happiness. As a devoted mother, she reveled in their accomplishments and was always there to support them. She cherished her grandchildren and cherished every opportunity to cheer them on at their events.
Susan's memory will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her kindness, love, and joy for life will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who were fortunate enough to share in her journey. In her eternal rest, Susan joins the symphony of nature that she so dearly admired. May her soul find peace and her spirit soar among the stars, forever embraced by the love and memories she bestowed upon us.
Services: Funeral will be held at Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Rd 63123) on Friday, August 4th 2023 at 2 p.m. Visitation Thursday, from 4-8 p.m. A celebration of Susan's life will be held at a future date. In lieu of plants, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Fragile X Resource Center of Missouri in memory of Susan and in honor of her grandson, Jackson.

May your memories give you peace and comfort of your loved one. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for the loss of your loved one. May GOD be with you all during this difficult time. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.

I was in shock to find out about Susan's passing. She had the kindest spirit and was the most understanding and caring person I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She was a good teacher and mentor and always had time to help me out. A beautiful soul taken away way too early. I know I speak for many when I say she will be missed but fondly remembered. Prayers to all of the family and all of her friends and co-workers.
