Timothy King Obituary

King, Timothy "Tim" M.

August 15, 1963 - March 1, 2025

Timothy "Tim" King passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025 at the age of 61. Born in St. Louis on August 15, 1963, Tim was a kind, compassionate man who found joy in helping others and lived a full life filled with love, laughter, and a thirst for knowledge.

Tim was preceded in death by his loving parents, Colvin "Cal" King and Frances King, and was the youngest of four siblings: Daniel (Laurie) King, Kathleen (Rick) Livesay, and Dennis (Karen) King. He will forever be remembered as the "fun uncle" by each of his six nieces and nephews, all of whom he shared special bonds with: Andrea (Jeff) Cody, Adam (Jennifer) King, Brian (Sara) King, Elizabeth Livesay, Paul (Terra) King, Mark (Jessica) Livesay, and Alex King.

Though Tim will be deeply missed, those who knew him take comfort that he lived life on his own terms and used his time on earth to have a positive impact on every person he met. His selflessness is further personified through his gift of brain and soft tissue to Columbia University Medical Center, following his passing, which is being used help advance multiple sclerosis research and improve the lives of future generations of MS patients.

A Celebration of Life honoring Tim will be held at his longtime home in Fenton this spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tim's memory can may be made to the National MS Society (www.nationalmssociety.org).

Tim was so good to my mom who lived across the street from him. He was a great guy. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Our friend, Tim, was unique in many ways...all ways that made us understand that he was gifted intellectually.

More importantly, though, Tim was a sincere and loyal friend to many of us. Kingo - as a lot of us affectionately call him - was one of the rare few that accepted everybody as they were, and liked and respected people for who they are.

We will miss Kingo. Thanks for the great times and memories you have left with all of us. We will remember them all until we see each other again, and can laugh together while reminiscing.

Our thoughts and prayers will be always be with you, Kingo, and with your family and friends.

Take care, Buddy.
