I'm sorry to say that I just ran across news of the passing of Warren. I served with him in the ASA at Mahring/Tirschenreuth, Germany in the mid 1950's. We both were Czech "translators" having attended the Army Language School. One time, Warren repaired a radio antenna of mine with an unusual soldering job. He was very good with his hands. It wasn't surprising to me that he became a well-respected orthodontist. I also remember his musical ability.
My condolences

Dear Heidi and Family,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your father.
To all of us in the Crossroads Business Community, Dr Warren Butts was a great guy. He brought wit and humor and music to our small business community, along with his intelligence and common sense.
I'm so glad that I got to know him and enjoy the "Knights of Swing." His band use to practice on Thursdays evenings in the garage below his practice, and it was a joy to hear those wonderful sounds floating through the night air. Our one receptionist always made sure she worked on Thursday evenings.
