So sorry to hear about Bill, I don’t know if you remember me, but I’m Joe Binkley, who lives in Baton Rouge Louisiana. I was in the FBI academy with Bill. We have visited each other in St. Louis and in Baton Rouge. I know how tough this is on you and Brian but I have been through the same thing I lost my wife Pat in 2016 after a long sickness. my sincere condolences to you and your family.

Barb and Brian
Love you both
Hold on to Bill’s memories, something everyday will remind you of him. It’s ok to
Grieve and we know Bill is in a better place
And we’ll see him again:
Precious memories, unseen angels
Sent from somewhere to my soul
How they linger, ever near me
And the sacred past unfolds
Precious memories, how they linger
How they ever flood my soul
In the stillness, of the midnight
Precious sacred scenes unfold

God of All Comfort
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

May your memories give you peace and comfort of your loved one. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for the loss of your loved one. May GOD be with you all during this difficult time. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.

Our sincere condolences to Barb and Brian during this difficult time. Bill defined what a good neighbor should be. He was friendly, helpful and fun-loving. He was always willing to lend a hand, whether it be to assist when a large tree limb fell during a storm, loaning his tools or sharing his secrets to a perfect lawn. We will sorely miss our ritual of sitting by the fire with Bill on Halloween night. The neighborhood will not be the same without Bill.

My condolences to Barb and Brian. Bill was not only my co worker but he was a great friend. He was always teaching me about important events in history and why I need to know all about it and the movies that I just needed to watch to learn about these things. The thing I loved most about him is, If I ever changed my hair or did my nails he’d say, “that’s so cute!” He noticed things that an average person wouldn’t notice. I’m so grateful I was able to get to know the amazing person he was. I’ll miss his jokes, Kindness, and presence that he gave us all.

Barbara and Brian I am so very sorry for your loss. I am Bill’s cousin, Sue, my mom was Bill’s Aunt Peggy. While we lived so far away and we lost touch with the family, I still think of my cousins as we are all that is left of our generation. Mark and I connected through Facebook and he keeps me posted now and then. May god bless you both in this time of sorrow.

While we knew Bill only the last 6 years, we are so thankful our paths crossed in this season of life. As part of the "restaurant hoppers," he (and Barb) added so much fun and laughter to our lives. We were honored to know Bill, if only for a short time and realize what a great patriot, guardian, father, and husband he was. We will certainly miss him and praise God that he at rest in our heavenly father's arms.

How lucky I am to have Bill as my cousin! He was such a stellar guy in every aspect of his life, not to mention, he was the greatest Cardinal fan I ever knew. I'll always remember spending a few Christmas Eve's with him, Barb and family. They were superb hosts. Bill was there to lend a great story and, most appreciated, he always wanted to hear mine. We always shared countless laughs during our visits. How blessed I am to have known this wonderful man. Rest in peace Bill & I'll see you in heaven someday!

My condolences to Barb and Brian and all who love Bill. I always enjoyed times in Bill’s company, many of which revolved around the Cardinals and the Clarinda A’s, a semi pro team Ozzie Smith played for in college. Bill and Ozzie were buddies. Many trips were taken to Iowa with Ozzie to help raise money for the A’s. Those were special times. Bill was a good man and I will always think of him fondly. God’s blessings to Bill and Barb and Brian and the family at this difficult time.

Bill was my coworker but more than that he was my friend. What a joy he was to me in my life. Taught me all about baseball and he loved keeping us all updated with the scores while we were at work. I learned so much from Bill whether it be about Vietnam or battleships or you name it he knew something about everything! What a wonderful man. I’m going to miss his stories and his sense of humor. What a tremendous loss and void Bill has left in my heart. I’m so thankful to have known him and I’m going to cherish all of my memories of him forever. My thoughts are with his entire family. May all of the joyful moments and memories carry you through this heart wrenching time. It’s impossible to say goodbye so I’ll simply say Till we meet again.
