Loving father of Bobby Campbell (Angel), Dawson Brotemarkle (Mira), Matt Brotemarkle (Kaitlyn), Carly Brotemarkle, and Annie Doke (Jerrod) and grandfather of Jack, Conor, Mia, Ayla, Ronan, Mikhail, Eleanor, Zachary, Sierra, Cormic and Leah.
Bill was a proud member of the 1968 McCluer Football Team, the first State Champions in Missouri history. He also loved playing rugby well into his sixties, creating great memories with the University of Central Missouri and St. Louis Falcons rugby clubs. He had a lifelong love of riding horses, and in his younger years he competed in rodeos on broncs and bulls.
Above all, his greatest joy was simply spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Dad, you will be missed. Enjoy peace in the great beyond.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer in St. Peters on September 2 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

It was always great to see Bill when I was a Referee in his son´s football game.
That led me to work the chains for the St Louis Rams home games for 10 years until they left town.

I´m sad to hear about this. I played football against Bill while at Riverview Gardens. Our games were always big north county events and drew fans from all over Stl area. We knew those guys and Bill was a name we all knew. Then, I played rugby against him in college. C Mo State v. SEMo. I´ll never forget him at the "Old Drum" tourney in Warrensburg, what a wild man that day. Then we became Falcon rugby club teammates. Last I saw him, a few years ago on a riding mower with a cowboy hat at the place in New Melle. What a good guy. A north county original. RIP Bill
