Bill was a truly kind, amazing, and inviting man. He sat behind me silently for more than a year at Holy Mass exchanging the sign of peace almost daily.
When I finally introduced myself to him, I was astounded at what a wonderful, funny, and joyful man he was. I knew he was a devoted Catholic and Parishioner by his example of prioritizing attendance at Mass.
We shared breakfasts together at BreadCo after Mass. Bill was so intelligent. A deep thinker and always willing to offer his insights and understandings to uplift and enlighten others.
Like the many statues in Church he will be a fixture in our hearts as one of our beloved Pew Pals. Bill was more than just a church-goer. I was blessed to call him my friend.
My deepest condolences to his family. May the peace of Christ comfort you knowing Bill is with his Lord.
He will be missed by many.
In Christ Jesus,
Nick Ganim

Was a friend of Bill for a very long time. He was a very intense person but had a good sense of humor.

I am so sad to hear of Bills passing, as I just saw him at Mass recently. I met Bill during the Covid shutdown, as we would gather with others and say the Rosary during that time, and I loved his stories! What a gem of a guy. He talked so lovingly about his children and grandchildren, and experiences back in the day. I am certainly going to miss him at SCL weekday Masses. May God have mercy on his Soul and grant him eternal rest.
