I have many happy memories of Uncle Barry from various family events over the years. His voice and laughter were easily recognizable. He was always warm and kind. He was a wonderful Great Uncle. We were blessed to call him family. We will be praying for those near and dear to him and for the repose of his soul. - Maggie, Marty, and David Gran

Our warm sympathy to all your family. Such a great friend Barry was to my parents and I know him and Dad are probably hanging out still - in heaven.
Mom also sends her sympathy and regrets as tomorrow is the 1 year date of Dad's death and she said she just can't seem to be there for you all. I hope you understand.
Much love to all the McCormacks -

I joined Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club in 2018. I met Barry shortly after that and enjoyed playing golf with him in the Rahter Group on Mondays and Wednesdays. As a new member of the group, Barry openly welcomed me. He always had a friendly smile and a kind word. And, for his age, could he hit a golf ball! Easy swing with a beautiful draw.

I wish to express my sympathies to the entire family and thank you for sharing Barry with me, albeit for a short few years. All of us meet people along our life journey but only some people are gems to us. Barry was a gem. God Bless all of you.

With deepest sympathy,

Tom

Dearest Mrs. Mac, Patty, McCormack kids, and your beautiful families - I want to extend my condolences and love. When Patty told me that Barry had passed, many happy, delightful memories came to mind. There was nobody with a better sense of humor or who loved to laugh more than him. Generous, solid, kind, warm, witty, and delighting everyone with his natural gift which was the pure ease and warmth that he extended to everyone. He made anyone he came into contact with feel acknowledged and seen - things I recognized even as a very young kid. You are all so close right now in my heart. Much love.

Dear Aunt Jan, Mike, Patty, Susie, Tom, Jill, Maggie and family. Many of my childhood memories include wonderful times spent with Your family. In adulthood, I always cherished time spent with Uncle Barry and Aunt Jan. I always remember the smile on his face, and the twinkle in his eye, knowing some story was about to be told. The lifelong friendship he, and Jan, shared with my parents was a privilege to witness and blessing. Please know my prayers are with you all, for comfort and strength, as you await the joyous reunion we are promised as children of God.

We are so blessed that Barry McCormack and Jan have been our dear friends since 1967. We have shared life, laughter, love, work and play, prayer and support in hard times and many joyful moments. We have been neighbors for most of our lives....our parents and children have been friends. We join Jan and his children in sharing the grief of his passing. We will ever miss him and memories of his wit, humor and stories will always make us smile. He was quite a guy!
