Aundrea Schrupp Obituary

Aundrea Faye Schrupp, 79, of Watertown, MN, passed away peacefully Monday, May 26, 2025, at North Memorial Hospital.

Aundrea was born April 22, 1946 to Erwin and Bernice (Buls) Kappmeyer in Waverly, IA. She attended school in Waverly graduating in 1964. She completed a degree as a Medical Laboratory Technologist from Northwest Institute.

Aundrea had a strong love for her family and serving others. She was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Watertown helping wherever she could. She volunteered at Waconia Hospital assisting in the care of patients and bringing them conversation and cheer. She was known for her generous spirit, impeccable timing, brutal honesty, and the ability to surprise you with just the perfect gift.

She retired from Advance Machine in Plymouth in 2010 where she was an equipment assembler. She was a very social lady who enjoyed her evenings participating on both pool and bowling leagues. She traveled for tournaments and talked about the great shots that were made, the ones that were missed, and the funny things that happened along the way. She was a fan of the Watertown Red Devils, often spending her weekends watching ball games.

Aundrea is survived by her loving family: sons, Jeff (Christine) Schrupp of Buffalo and Tim (Holly) Schrupp of Delano; grandchildren, Luke, Ryan Schrupp (special friend, Chelsey), Jade (Zach) Johnson, Cody Schrupp and Caden Schrupp; great-grandchildren, Finley, Archer, Daphne, Maelynn, Vidalia; brothers, Karlton (Pauline) Kappmeyer, Kelvin (Christine) Kappmeyer, and Kenny (Nancy) Kappmeyer all of Waverly, IA; sisters-in-law, Janet Mielke, Joan Kickhafer, Ellen (Leo) Waldack and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin and Bernice Kappmeyer; ex-husband, Elton; sisters-in-law, Marion Almquist, Adeline Schrupp, Donna Schrupp, Dorothy Schrupp, Laverne Schrupp; brothers-in-law, Raymond, Loren, Donald, and Alfred Schrupp, Gerald Almquist, Robert Kickhafer, and Richard Mielke.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Watertown, with Rev. George Morris officiating at 11:00am on Saturday, June 7, 2025. Visitation with the family will begin two hours before the celebration of life. Private inurnment will be held at St. John's United Church of Christ-Siegel in Waverly, IA at a later date.

The family would like to thank her best neighbors, Louie and Laura Chadwick, the staff at the Wealshire in Medina for providing her with excellent care for the past year, and the staff at North Memorial Hospital for their caring and compassionate nature.
