Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Mrs. Hatten,

My Dad, Pete Hatten was a cousin of Duncan Ray. He always spoke of Duncan Ray as being a fine man. I met your husband once at a Hatten reunion in Wiggins. I was so impressed with the care and attention he gave his elderly parents. I am so sorry we never lived close enough to know him better. Please accept my deepest expressions of sympathy.

Virginia, Jody, Carrie, Jerri, and Derek. Just know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time and always, and that we love each of you very much. We can't bring him back , but we can know that we will see him again,as we know where his heart was. Justice will be served, maybe not in our lifetime, but in the man that did this. Keep your hearts and heads held high and know that God is always there for you.
We Love you
