Gary Fahnestock Obituary
Mr. Fahnestock was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Alice Fahnestock; two brothers, James and Charles Fahnestock; and a granddaughter, Katlin Fahnestock.
He is survived by three daughters, Teresa Hankins of Carlisle, PA, Amy Anderson, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA; and Angela Fahnestock-Delius of Saucier; a son, Tim Fahnestock of Mechanicsburg, PA; four sisters, Evelyn Whitzel of Carlisle, PA, Nancy Larson of Newville, PA, Martha Fahnestock of Mechanicsburg, PA, Connie Moffitt of Raystown, PA; two brothers, Raymond Fahnestock of Gardners, PA and Ken Fahnestock of Newville, PA; and four grandchildren, Deven Robbins, Lathan Anderson, Madison Hankins, and Kay Fahnestock.
The funeral service will be Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. until the service. Interment will be in Springville Cemetery in Bolling Springs, PA with military honors.

~I miss you so much already...I keep thinking that you will appear from around the corner somewhere or be sitting on the couch...I made a promise to you that I plan to keep...Even though you may be gone from this earth you will live everyday in my heart and will be with me everywhere I am for the rest of my life...I am to much like you to not have you in my soul...I love you so very much pop...You no longer suffer and I know you are in a better place...One day we will be together again and I look forward to it...Give Katlin big kisses and hugs from me~ I LOVE YOU~

Gary is my father. I am Teresa Hankins his oldest daughter. My father was the greatest man I will ever know!! He would help anyone in need. I remember him as a man who was always outside doing something. Wether he was building something or riding his lawn mower through the yard. He would always take the country back roads to get somewhere and us kids would think it took forever to get to our destination but that was dad. What I would give to do that again with him. I have many memories of him as a child and an adult. I had visited him in MS many times. It felt like a home away from home when I went there. He will be greatly missed by alot of people. May you rest in peace dad & I will always love you and not a day will go by that you aren't on my mind. I LOVE YOU!!!!
