Gay Suzzette Rouse-Davin, 58, originally of Gautier, but more recently of Gulfport, MS, went to live with the Lord on December 9, 2017.
Gay was born on July 18, 1959, to Vernon Rouse and Dorothy McVeay in Pascagoula, MS. She was their only daughter following her three elder brothers. Gay graduated from Pascagoula High School and continued her education at MS Gulf Coast Community College, Jackson County Campus. She became a psychiatric nurse and dedicated her life to helping those in need. She retired from Memorial Behavioral Health in Gulfport after working there for more than 15 years.
She is proceeded by her parents, Dorothy and Vernon Rouse.
Gay is survived by her three daughters, Ashley Beatrice Walker, Amberley Suzzette Frisby, and Audrey Gay Richardson; her brothers Gene Rouse, Lynn Rouse, and Kevin Rouse; her grandchildren, Lillian Richardson, Harrell Richardson III, Katie Walker, Mia Walker, Ava Walker, Aiden Barnett, and Wesley Frisby.
Gay was a loving woman with an easy smile and an infectious laugh. She will be severely missed and live on in the hearts of all that knew her.
A celebration of life services will be held 2PM, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church in Gautier.

Sincere condolences I worked with Gay at Chalmette Medical Center and Memorial Hospital. Gay was a very caring nurse and could always put the pieces of the puzzle togetherness of to get the whole picture. RIP Gay
