Jonathan Tyler Burns, Dec. 27, 1991-Sept. 30, 2007. Jonathan was born in Keflavik, Iceland. He will be remembered for his quiet, yet sweet demeanor, his passion for baseball, and his humility with the gifts God gave him. A fellow teammate wrote: "Never have I seen more humility in my life. You were modest about your talents."
Jonathan carried a 3.5 GPA at the International School of Bangkok and was noted by one of his teachers as an 'astute, polite young man.' Our beloved Jonathan will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
He is survived by his father, Richard L. Burns, Jr. and step-mom, Haydee Rodriguez-Burns of Port Orchard WA, his mother, Karla A. Tyrpak (formerly Burns) of Gulfport, MS; his brother and sister, Joshua and Allison Burns, grandparents from Albuquerque, N.M., Chicago, IL, and Port Orchard, WA as well as extended family throughout the U.S. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal."
A Memorial service will be Oct. 27, 2007 at Cedar Lake Christian Assembly at 6 p.m.

To everything there is a time and season. I'm saddened that your season of life ended before your experience was full.
My deepest sympathies to the family, both intimate and extended. May the Lord arise, and cover you with His wings during this difficult time.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
