P. J. Kitson Obituary
Mr. P. J. Kitson, age 46, of D'Iberville, MS., died Thursday, December 25, 2008, in D'Iberville.
Mr. Kitson was a resident of the community for ten years. He was an avid sports fan, especially NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys, and was a graduate of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX. He was a loving son, brother and friend to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alberta Kitson.
Survivors include his father, W. R. Kitson of Washington D.C., a sister, Bridget Kimura of Honolulu, Hawaii and two brothers, Bruce Kitson of Wichita Falls, TX. and Rob Kitson of Phoenix, AZ.
Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

P.J. and I became friends in high school,he always made you laugh no matter what. I can remember him up at the break of dawn cleaning his car , even if it was spotless. He was so full of life.God bless him and his family. He will be missed

PJ and I were really close up until he move to mississippi and even then I missed all good times we had, we shared alot of laughs together. My heart goes out to the family for their loss, I'll miss you buddy.

I met P.J. in the sixth grade, he was always a fun-loving person with a big beautiful smile. It is a blessing to reflect on the many wonderful memories of the neighborhood and the fun we shared as a group. Many thoughts and prayers to the Kitson family from the Caldwell's. God bless.

P.J. was one of the 1st people I met when I moved to O.S. in 2002 and he and I became instant friends and talked to each other from that point on at least once or twice every week sometimes a day! He was like a brother I never had and my heart is still aching to talk with him.

I hadn't seen PJ in 30 years. It really does seem like it was only yesterday we were goofing around in the Philippines. He was my best friend at that awkward time of life when we leave childhood behind and try to forge a new identity on our way to young adulthood. I never understood why this fun-loving extroverted prankster wanted to be friends with an introverted bookworm like me. But he did. And I am so much the better for his friendship. PJ did as much for me in my social development as a person as anyone else in my life - before or since. I have always been thankful for his friendship in those days and I mourn his passing from this world, but he has not passed from my heart. In fact, as I reminisce, it occurs to me that my life now would benefit from a dose of PJ's spirit. Fly on brother! My fondest regard and sympathy go to PJ's family and loved ones.

In school, P.J. was the most unassuming person but he could make you laugh. I remember him being a character with character. See ya in that big class reunion in Heaven. Oh, what a time!

I met P.J. while in high school and we instantly became good friends. He was a blast to hang with and he always had a way of making me laugh. I will treasure all the great memories I have of him. I am deeply saddened by his passing.

P.J was a sweet guy full of the love of life. He was always in great spirits no matter what was going on in his life, you could never tell if he was down.I just saw him after Thanksgiving and he was his usual happy go luckey self. I will miss him dearly. Im very sorry for your loss.
