Ra'Shawn Thompson Obituary

Once upon a time there was a little race car driver named Ra'Shawn D'Vonne Thompson. He attended church at Emmanuel BC and school at Turkey Creek Headstart. His favorite movie was "Cars." Little Ra'Shawn passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the tender age of 5.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother: Evonne Durr; great grandparents: Lottie Burley, Howard and Rosie Durr, and C. L. and Betty Barnes.
He leaves to cherish his parents: Shawn and Cheoka Barnes Thompson; grandparents: Hezekiah Barnes and Franklin Drones, Evangelist Sonceria and T. J. Overby; great grandparents: Bishop Joe and Pastor Lillie Nichols and Rev. Fred and Earnestine Fleming, Sr.; sisters: Destini and Tarijah Thompson; brothers: Durron, Elijah and Jermiah Thompson; god parents: Dexter and Helena Mobley; god aunts: Sheronda, Shonda and Sheri Mobley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be 11AM Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Good Deeds. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time.
Ra'Shawn loved to share and he loved cars. In place of flowers, his parents request that guests bring toys cars. These cars will be donated to Toys For Tots in the name of Ra'Shawn. His parents truly believed this will reflect his love for cars.
