Agapito "Pete" Castillo

Castillo , Agapito "Pete", 89, of Springfield, TN, formerly of Pompano Beach and Lake Placid, FL passed away peacefully on June 30, 2007. Born September 21, 1917 in Mission, TX, he was the son of the late Blas and Narcisa Castillo. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1941 to 1945. Pete was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Charlene. He is survived by his son, Robert Castillo of Plantation, FL and daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Edward Broadbent of Springfield, TN; grandchildren, Lauren Elliott, Michael Castillo, Phillip Castillo and Dianna Castillo; great-grandchildren, Michael Castillo, Jr. and Matthew Castillo; brother, Jimmy Garcia; and sisters, Ann Castillo, Marie Chantaca, Delores Saucedo and Lube Cervantes. We will miss his sense of humor and "green thumb." Visitation is Thursday, July 5, 2007, 4-7 pm and the Memorial Service, Friday, July 6, 2007, at 11:00 am, both at the funeral home.
