Chuck was the most enlightened of us, he had an easy depth and was such a wise soul.

Although I have not seen Chuck for years, I am so saddened to hear about his sudden death. I keep telling my family that he was one of the most brilliant people who attended my HS - which was quite a brainy group to stand out from. He was always cheerful and enthusiastic. Now that I've learned he was in CA also these past years, I am especially sorry to have not seen him more recently. My deepest sympathy to his family. -Davida

I am so sad to hear the news of Chuck's passing. Although I had not seen or chatted with him since high school, I know from all the tributes I have read that he really made a difference in the world during his short life.

Chuck, you had so much smarts. But more importantly you had so much life. I always admired your ability to be that way and feel an even deeper motivation to try to learn from you now.
You will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to know you.

Too soon. My prayers go out to your family and friends. Seems like yesterday you gave me advice on Dostal and Gripo. You will be missed.
