Daniel Murphy

Murphy Murphy, Daniel E 78, of Deerfield Beach, FL, died Sunday May 1, 2011. Born in Kearny, NJ, a long time resident of Monmouth County, NJ. Dan grew up in Union Beach, NJ, lived most of his life in Hazlet, NJ and resided in Deerfield Beach for the last 13 years. He served proudly in the United States Navy. Dan worked for many years as manager of 1001 Auto Parts in Lodi, NJ and recently was employed at Home Depot in Deerfield Beach, FL. Dan was predeceased by his parents, John H. and Cathaleen M. Murphy (Smith); brother John H. (Jack) Murphy. Dan is survived by his wife Evelyn of 46 years, his daughters and son-in-laws, Linda C. and Michael T. Koch of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Kimberley A. and Anthony Ricca of Boca Raton, FL; his sons and daughter-in-laws, William P. Yale of Pawleys Island, South Carolina; Ben W. and Mary Jane Murphy of Middletown, NJ; George G. and Anne M. Murphy of Manasquan, NJ; Kevin J. and Joyce P. Murphy of Middletown, NJ. 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving brother Ernest W. Murphy and sister Cathaleen M. Purdy. A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday, May 12th 1:30pm at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL. A memorial mass will be held at a later date at St. Mary??s Church in Middletown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer??s Association P.O.
