Dear Mimi and Sue--

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting your mother, she obviously touched the lives of many around her.
She was so very lucky to have had two wonderful daughters--who will allow her legacy to live on through you both.

I remember meeting Edna and Mario Candiotti in June 1969 in the JFK Airport. This is where Mimi Candiotti's parents had chosen to bid her farewell for a ten week summer in France. My parents (John and Mildred Wenger) had chosen also to accompany me to New York to bid farewell. That June was an interim of a controller's strike and we were delayed several hours before departure. I recall Mrs. Candiotti was very friendly and she dressed with attention to detail. In subsequent years anytime I saw her, my initial impression remained unchanged.
She will be missed by friends and family, especially her two loving daughters who cherished their mother and honor her memory with their father. May she rest in peace.
