Clyde,

Erlene will be remembered well. She was loved by so many because she continually showed the love of Christ to others. I know that you and your family will miss her dearly, but remember that God promises to be with us always, even to the end of the age. It has been my privilege to know Erlene. I have been blessed to be able to minister to her.

Dear Clyde and Family,

Erlene's love was a beautiful example of Christ's love and devotion to others. We miss her very, very much. Erlene was a guiding light to us; teaching us how to live our lives. She felt like our "mom". We will always carry memories of her deep in our hearts. Oh how we wish we could be like her!!! Her kind giving and loving Spirit will always be present among our church family and friends!!!

Mr. Carter (Clyde), and family: my prayers and thoughts are with you at this time of your loss of your wife and mother. Erlene was a delightful lady to know. I will always remember how thoughful and kind you and Erlene were to me at Chevron and over the years. It was a pleasure knowing you all in Louisville, KY; and then having dinner with you all in Portland, OR in 2005. May God bless you and watch over you.
