Gary Metzger Obituary

Metzger , Gary James, 62, went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2007. A resident of Broward County for almost 60 years, he was a friend to everyone he met. His greatest joys were listening to music and singing in the church choir. He is survived by his daughter Angela; granddaughter, Jessica; brother, Guy and wife Margie; sister, Gail; niece, Cindy and husband, Dr. Rick Faulk and family, nephew, Matt and wife, Rachel and family, niece, Mindy and husband, Randy; his church family, and many friends and loved ones. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Oakland Park, 801 NE 34th Court, Oakland Park, FL.

It was a sad day when Gary left us but also a bright day. Such a kind and gentle man to everyone he was around. He will surly be missed. We all will get to see him again in the future and enjoy him all over again. Until then he lives on in my world.
