I couldn't believe it when I heard the news. Ida was my neighbor. We saw each other almost everyday. She drove in front of my house to take her kids to school every morning. I was so comfortable in her presence, I called her "cousine". My prayers are with Fr. Jean and the girls.

I still can't believe it, no words to express it. This is far too much to handle. Such a horrid twist of faith that has taken place so unexpectedly. What does one say or do? Acceptance is so hard to swallow at this point. Gloomy situations like this make you sit and analyze every aspect of your life and try to get things straight with God ASAP. All I can remember right now is her laughter, like always. We were both taking the same math class, but not together. I had the class 1st & she had it a few hours later and so we exchanged numbers to keep each other posted. It was so surprising how she acted whenever she'd call me to find out what was on the exam, so bubbly & on the edge cause she wanted to earn that A. She has shaped her girls into her mini me's and I pray that they forever remember the great times they spent together, living & learning in pure motherly love by a wonderful woman of God. Let us all celebrate her living, but not her death for it was then Jesus carried her.

Our losses and sorrows can be very painful but God's grace, love, and mercy will always be among us.One thing to remember no matter how painful our circontances can be God will always be our sources of comfort, refuge, and strenght.He will always deserves all glory ,honor, and praises . i am waiting for someone to wake me up from the dream but noone can. She will always be in my heart and i will not forget how good and faithful she was to my family and I. I am so happy that I had a chance to take her home on Sunday. We had our last laughs about the world and its technology. May God bless the family during this time.

There isn't anything negative you can say about the woman. She was positive in every light.
She was two things: (1) A GOOD person and (2) a person in Christ. You see being a Christian does not mean you are a GOOD person. I've met a lot of mean Christians. But when you find a Christian that is NATURALLY a good person. This my friends is a blessing. Ida was BOTH a Christian and a good person.
Ida was not judgmental but she was understanding. She did not see the bad in people but ALWAYS saw the good.
Now the world has lost a great person. But with every fiber of my being I believe and know that heaven has gained a great person.
I want her children to know, how GREAT their mother was and how much of an impact she had on MANY lives. They also need to know that a piece of their mother's personality and soul LIVES in them.

Idamene Destine was like a mother to me since I was a little girl.She was smiling,laughing,and joking around with everyone.She was a servent of God.Her kids are very strong I'm very proud of them..I pray that God will give her husband strength,and joy,to stand strong in the good works of God that hes doing..Idamene was a person God use to speak to others. My last words to her was that she was pretty, and that I loved her with all my heart.She respond back to me "I love you too and that I will always love you, you are my daughter in christ Jesus"..Then she gave me a big hug. Why do good people die...? God misses them, they fulfill their purpose on earth, and they are ready to go to God.
Our God surely has His reason for taking Ida (ma commere) this early. She was a good mother, a good wife, a great woman of God, and a good marriage counselor. We will surely miss your jokes and your great sense of humor. Friday Night Couples (FNC) will miss you always.
Let us all love and pray for each other. Ida was an example of a lovely person.

I knew her since kid, she was always smiling. Youth, she was full of energy.
When I first came in US she welcome me and my wife warmly, she presents us her daughters and have us talk to her nice husband on the phone.
After so long years I was expecting change but there was not any.
She was still smiley, energetic and real God believer.
Today,today,todayyyy.... she is in the loving hand of the lord.

She called me the son that she never had. I talked to her on Sunday. She's just one of those people that you think will always be around you.
