Dear Moses Family,

As a neighborhood kid during the Moses era at Chaminade I have vivid memories of Coach Moses in action on the field and in the classroom. He was a great man who was respected by all. He will be fondly remembered. God bless him and all of you.

Dear Hope, Jim & Mike:

I will be forever grateful for the inspiration and guidance that Jim gave me throughout my teenage years. His guidance provided me, and those that were blessed to know him, with a solid foundation of striving for excellence. I can still hear the echo of his voice on the football field pushing me to my absolute maximum potential - “Wallyyyyyyy!!!!!” These memories remain carved in my heart and I will cherish them for the rest of my life.

May you find peace and solace in knowing that his legacy will live on.

Hope, Jim, Mike and the entire Moses family

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. “Coach Mo” as he was affectionately known to many of us had such a positive impact on our lives. He not only taught you how to be the best on the field of athletics, but more importantly he taught you about life and how to become a better person. I cherish the time I spent with him in High School along with the visits to A&C and lunches at Rickey’s. He was a great man and will be missed.

God Bless

Coach Moses helped provide more than a classroom education for me at Chaminade, he also imparted life lessons to his students at every chance. I will always be grateful for the time he took with me when he was my teacher.

To the Moses Family -
I am very sorry for your loss. Mr. Moses was an extremely nice man who was very kind to me – not only in high school – but well after I graduated. I recall vividly my last encounter with him. I was with my sons at a football game at American Heritage where he had such a way of making me feel like I was special. He had a very positive impact on my life and will be missed.
